  1. Hi Mastercase 5 owners!

I really like the Mastercase 5 Pro, I consider buying it and I'd like to ask for your expertise.

    This is my setup:

    Asus Maximus VIII Ranger

    Intel Core i7-6700K

Kingston HyperX Savage DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-2666, CL13

    Samsung SSD 950 Pro 512GB, M.2

Samsung SSD 850 Pro 512GB, SATA

    Corsair H110i GTX

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Hybrid Gaming

I don't need 2,5" and 3,5" drive cages on the right side and would not install any for better airflow and more room for the tubes of the H110i on the top right of the case. I thought about mounting the 280mm radiator on top of the Mastercase 5 Pro, the fans below pushing air through the radiator out of the case.

The dimensions of the EVGA radiator are 150mmx120mmx27mm plus the 120mmx120mmx27mm fan making a total of 270mmx240mmx54mm.

My question is if there is enough space and clearance to mount the 120mm radiator and the fan of the EVGA GTX 980 Ti Hybrid on the backside of the MC5 Pro? Or would the fans on the radiators block each other making it impossible to mount the radiators and fans on top/on the back of the MC5 Pro at the same time?

This is my first watercooled system, thanks for your comments.

Maybe you can consider to mount the 280mm radiator at the front

then the EVGA Radiator can fit at the back :)

  2. Does anybody know where we actually put our suggestions?

I was just introduced to this case tonight but I want to make an ideal suggestion(that could of already be suggested)

I see the top it only supports up to 240mm radiators. I have the Corsair H110i GT and it's 280mm wouldn't fit in this case(top), and while I would love to have it, this is a big issue.

So hopefully I can suggest if somebody already hasn't that they make it to where you can fit a 280mm radiator up top.

Yes I could put it in the front, but that's more of a last resort to me.

    right here ?

for MasterCase 5, i think the top support just 280mm radiator, there is a space between 120mm fan holes, so 240mm radiator is impossible

for MasterCase Pro 5, the bracket for 240mm/280mm radiator in included

  3. Hello,

i have a 360 radiator and the problem is i can't find any cool case that costs under 200€.

Obsidian 900D sound cool and costs 300€.. i don't want to go over 200€.

Will be there any Big Tower MasterCase or a radiator mount for the MasterCase 5 ?

I had a idea how to build it into the "doors".

    MasterCase 5 is Mid Tower

I think "maybe" Cooler Master will produce the full tower version

    Maybe 6/7/8/9? :)

  4. Hi all

want to suggest about spare part order
why users can't order spare parts from local distributors anymore?

I need some spare parts for my case, then i called my local distributor

they said they don't receive spare parts order anymore

they suggest me to order from CMStore

i know CMStore's locations are in Europe and United States

    but I'm from Indonesia.

The Shipping cost is too expensive for me

why Cooler Master don't open CMStore for Asia if i can't order spare parts from local distributor?

or maybe Cooler Master allow users order Spare part from local distributor again? :(

Hope to get reply from Cooler Master A.S.A.P

    Thank You

  5. Thanks. I'm still not clear though and it's not clear to me what those three removable drive cages are for.

Does the HAF XB EVO have two X-Docks, which take either 3.5" or 2.5" drives and another two internal drive bays that will take either 3.5" or 2.5" drives?

Does the HAF XB have two X-Docks, which take either 3.5" or 2.5" HDD/SDD and another four internal drive bays, which will only take 2.5" drives?

    both are correct :)

  6. i think the mobo will fit
because i use Rampage II Extreme that ATX Form Factor ( 12 inch x 10.6 inch)

it placed perfectly on the left of the rubber grommet

If you see at the picture of the HAF 925, there is another standoff hole for mobo at the right of the rubber grommet

each 915 include 1 HDD cage, so if you want to use 3 915(s), you will need 6 more HDD Cages (HDD cage at 925 not calculated)

and for 2 PSU, so you will need another 915 maybe?

  7. i agree with this

i prefer full sized tower like HAF

as is posted before at product suggestion :

"AIO Liquid cooler support at the top with plenty of space for push-pull configuration

and of course removable hdd cage, so can mount AIO Liquid cooler at the front too  :)

and windowed side panel with fan mount option   :D  "

  8. maybe CoolerMaster will release 92mm LED fan with transparent frame

for more choice of 92mm fan at the market

and especially for HAF Stacker (915R has 92mm fan intake at the front)

it will be nice to see LED there

    just my opinion

    Thank You

    Add one more suggestion

    about HAF Full Tower series

will another lines up will available?

    like remake of HAF932

AIO Liquid cooler support at the top with plenty of space for push-pull configuration

and of course removable hdd cage, so can mount AIO Liquid cooler at the front too :)

and windowed side panel with fan mount option  :D
