  2. Does anybody know the code of the paint the case uses? When I got it it had a slight chip where the main sidepanel meets the top near the front. Now that I'm back from college and settled down a bit, I wanted to get some touchup paint and fix it! I heard that the case is painted with a paint used by Mercedes, but I am wonderin which color code I need to pick up for the touchup paint to match. Also, my stupid ROOMATE scratched the window a bit. Is the sidewindow plexi or lexan? I think it matters on which buffing compound I get to remove scratches. Thanks for any help!

    Hello ::

"Black Widow" Everything I have found with your Model # is just a Mirror Finished Black Metalic Paint job. You may just take the case to a Car/Auto-Body Shop see if they could give you a Color to go with -- But It still will be hard to get the Mirror look may need to Buff out the Box agian.

The Plexi-Glass you have on your case you can just use a Acrylic Buffing Compount to Hope you can get it out. You may just Buy a New Side panel and Replace the Full Window (Price I think is 25$) that is for a Full Side Panel/Window you can just replace the Old Window with the New :)..

Sorry Maybee someone in your Market area might know the Exact Color Code but so far have not found it anywere.

    Hope this Helped ya.

  3. I have 3 Praetorian's in my Room/office with all CM LED Fan's (Answer yes) I can have them all running and I dont even really hear them.

I know with Better fans I can reduce the noise lvl even more.

the preatorian Black has a Full Brushed Alluminum Black finish Allso it is Fully Anodized - Very sweet case. I own 2 Silver and 1 Black "Well" LoL that's not the color anymore. I Recently had all Cases Anodized Blue/Purple/Black - Inside and out. The Black Case Front Is in the Shop atm getting 100% Polished like a mirror. just a little project im working on for some fun.

Would I sujest a CM Preatorian? Yes go for it.

I allso use the CM Front Bezel's in this Case it work's 100% Good.

(Just use the Bezel and Modify the internal part's to make the Face plate work for you:)

Need any more detail's let me know I can provide them.

  6. brushed alu has lines on it and anodized alu has sort of an automotive paintjob finish...

    Is that correct?

    Thanx :D

Well - Anodizing Will give you Color Yes.. But Anodizing will Retain the Brushed look.

Powdercoating and Paint give you a Car Paintjob look.

    Hope that help's ya out.

Grump : need my morning Fix were ya at?? (Take your time) :o

  7. Very nice Grump. I really want to know how you get the texture on your case color.

Hi ^^ :: I will answer what I think Grump did for the Textures you see.

The Textures in all are from the base Powder Coating. From that Point all Textures will carry thru the paintjob's

    Thanks alot for the reply....

    So does this mean :

Brushed Alu = Anodized Alu ?

    I'm a newbie here

No Brushed alluminum = Brushed alliminum it is done thru a Sanding and Chemical Proccess -- Anodized Alluminum = Colored and ClearCoated if you wish for the Protection and Shine. If you would just like a Dull Colored Finish you dont need the Teflon Coating that they usually use after the Anodizing Proccess.

Great Run thru on how to Highlight and Paint Perimiter's with a Fade Effect. Yes, the Switches do look very good. Go for it  Keep up the Fun.

  8. Hi Grump,
