  1. Anyone who has a problem with their V1000 power supply not turning on. Check the in-rush current resistor located close to the mains input connections on the board and the white bypass relay. It looks like a black disc capacitor with a heat shrink cover. This resistor limits the in-rush current and then the relay switches in bypassing it. If the resistor is open circuit then there is no mains power going to the rectifier. I couldn't find a replacement part in my junk, so replaced it with a 4.7 ohm 10w resistor. So far so good...
