  1. PWM fans worth it?

I have a HAF 912 case that I want to manage airflow better, it currently has two 120mm standard fans and I want to max out the fans in can have(two 200mm and one 140mm, and 120mm) should I look into PWM fans? motherboard (asus p8z77) can support 3 (plus cpu fan). the idea of fan curves appeals to me for noise. finding them is also another matter
  2. Peltier cooling?

Just wondering if anyone has looked into this. might be cool to have a system that has temperatures cooler than ambient
  3. ok, I think I have all the info you might need to help me decide Cooler master HAF 912 case Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V LK (LGA1155) Crucial Technology BLT4G3D1608DT1TX0 (4 sticks) current cooler has speccy show temps of 60-80c, I need to pull the case apart to see what model, but i am pretty sure it was a generic stock one. not even listed on the reciept. my 1st question is the noise ratings on the two CPU coolers Cooler Master Hyper 612 Ver.2 11-20db Cooler Master Hyper 212X DUAL 36db I looked at all the other air coolers (and some liquid) and almost all of them have ~30db for noise specs, is the max db for the 612 right, or a typo? I want the quietest option. most reviews i see usually refer to the early 612, which seemed to have some performance issues 2nd question, will either fit? I am pretty sure it is a yes, the haf is a midsize case that says it can handle 175mm height coolers. other things are more fans and an after-market cooler for my GTX 650ti boost, but those are other stories
  4. 212 or 612 v2 for my setup(noise)?

Followup, the 612 fits like a dream, pics and more at https://pcpartpicker.com/user/tater1337/builds/
