  1. Hi there, I have the MasterCase 5 pro which comes with a top cover. I was wondering if there's any way to buy the magnetic grip without buying the top cover which I already have. I would like to prevent dust from entering from the top of the case. http://www.cmstore-usa.com/masteraccessory-top-cover-kit-with-magnetic-grip/ Cheers
  2. I have recently bought two MasterFan Pros and both are connected to my motherboard PWM headers. As far as I can tell from CoolerMaster's specifications and marketing material, the profile switch on the back of the fans simply limits the max RPM the fans can go up to. It's probably meant to be used when the fans are connected to the power supply via molex. So my question is, should I set the profile switch to performance mode and let the motherboard handle the RPM instead of manually limiting it with the switch? With PWM, under the same conditions (ambient temperature, CPU load... etc) wouldn't the RPM/noise be the same at all three profile switch settings?
  3. Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has tried the Masterair Maker 8 CPU cooler with their Masterbox 5 casing. I have looked at the specs and there seems to be a 5mm difference--the Masterbox has clearance for 167mm CPU coolers while the MasterAir Maker is specified as 172mm. However, it seems like the MasterAir Maker has interchangeable shells that can be swapped to match your build's design. So would it be possible to remove the shell and fit the cooler inside a 167mm case? Best, Nibi
  4. Will it fit Masterbox 5

Thanks Mohd. I have received a response from CM customer service, posting it here in case others are wondering of the same thing: "Thank you for your ticket, as the brackets of the cooler cannot be removed as it is to hold the fans in place. It is not recommended. Thank you"
