I didnt buy it for the RGB, actually didnt know it was there until I got the product with my amd cpu "in a box", but..... you make a fan with a RGB light on it, you make it color adjustable by a wire to USB port on the motherboard and you have a piece of software to control the color...... so far so good.... Then why can the software only do 4 things..... 1. cycle colors 2. set it as one static color 3. the the light blink (breathe) 4. off. what happend to all the cool stuff..... 5. The obvious... color scale depending on cpu speed 7. color scale depending on fan speed 8. color scale depending on hdd/ssd activity 9. Blink to music beats... 10 going further......blink to every keyboard input....if detectable.

I don't think getting a response is the issue, its the problem that some are being allowed to get the bracket, and others like myself are being flat out told that there is no bracket.

Dear Joseph, We apologize, but the Hyper 212 LED can only be vertically mounted on AM4 motherboards. CM Support Yeah, that was a lot of help. No more CoolerMaster for me anymore. If they would have just gone about it the right way and make a proper backplate, this wouldnt be an issue.

This article is completely WRONG!!! Cooler Master sells the new AM4 mounting bracket for Hyper 212 LED in China, which is 100% compatible with both old and new version of Hyper 212 LED heat sink. I got this recently. You guys refuse to provide the new upgrading kit to west user, and LIED about it!!

Hello, I am having same issue here. Hyper 212 LED Turbo cannot be rotated and mounted such that the cooler fins align parallel to the DIMM slot on the motherboard. (See image attached) In the image, the blue shaded region is the cooler fins (or heat sink fin). The blue arrow is the air flow direction. The blue orientation is the only way how the cooler can be attached. This is very restrictive for small cases which do not have exit port on right (of this image) I am looking for mounting the cooler, as shown as red shaded orientation, where the direction of air flow is in red colored arrows. ( in this orientation the fins are parallel to the RAM or DIMM slots). Can CoolerMaster help with this. ( I own a Hyper 212 LED Turbo presently and all hardware is just sitting there to be used !)

Hi all, Recently I received all the components for my Ryzen 7 upgrade. One of the items is a Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo which according to the website, packaging and instructions is fully compatible with AM4. Well, I'm afraid to say that is just not the case. I've been spending hours today trying to make this cooler fit on my ASUS board to no avail. It seems the retention clip provided with the kit will in absolutely no way clip close on the motherboard's bracket unless I bend it in such way that it defeats the purpose or worse still, damage the CPU or motherboard. I've also Google'd like crazy with no results. Unfortunately the platform and cooler's too new for there be any helpful tips out on the web. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. The motherboard in question: ASUS Prime X370-Pro

No, i did not remove the stock backplate of my tomahawk b350 mobo. i only used the screws and the bracket that they shipped to me and was able to attach the heatsink vertically.

Same thing for me but more - I bought an Asrock B350 Fatality mobo to go with my Ryzen 5 1600x CPU. As the 'x' series don't come with coolers, decided to buy a CoolerMaster Evo 212x. Firstly, the screws that came with it did not fit in the stock backplate that came with my mobo, and the backplate I was provided with (from CM) did not align with any of the holes around my CPU in the motherboard. Even if the backplate aligned or the screws fit, the "AM4" bracket doesn't even fit. It's too short and the only way to get it to fit would be to just shove it in and (when tightened) damage the mobo. Not happy at all with this false advertisement, last time I buy a thing from Coolermaster. (Below I have shown the incompatibilities. On the image with the arrows I am showing where the screws are supposed to fit but do not. In that image is the stock backplate that came with the motherboard.)

Hey John, I too experienced the same issue shortly after installing the MasterLiquid 120 lite CPU Cooler. Have you tried checking your motherboard fan settings in the BIOS? I found that the MSI motherboard that I'm using defaults the CPU and pump headers to use the PWM mode (with 4 pin plug). From what I found in other forums, the pump on these coolers (with 3 pin plug) need a steady supply of power so you want to set the pump header to use the DC mode. After updating the pump header setting, I verified that the other fans were set to the correct mode, saved changes and restarted. After that, all was nice and quiet. No more noises from the pump and the CPU is nice and cool since. I hope this helps. - Alex

With the H500p mesh comming out is there going to be a wat for people with the origanal h500p to get the mesh front for better airflow?

Please create a support ticket at the CM fanzone and request the LGA775 bracket. (Details are in my signature)

I've got the Masterbox 5 Lite RGB too, just arrived yesterday, and same issue. If I remove the front panel the temps drop about 9 degrees C cooler on my CPU and 7 degrees C cooler on my M2 SSD that sits next to it, and GPU is down about 5 degrees C. These are all idle temps too. When I install the front panel cover, temps rise within about 3-5 minutes. It's really, really, really poor design with the extremely limited front intake space and the front shroud sitting so close to the case fans leaving no breathing room. This is all with the front fans running at full speed, because although CM remembered to include an RGB splitter, the apparent focus on form over function made them think it was okay to include extremely short fan cables and think it okay to have them run off molex power thus permanently at 100%. The ever present hum of maxed fans which provide terrible airflow is going to drive me nuts. I'm definitely thinking of returning the case and going with something from Fractal or Corsair instead. CM should be shipping out replacement front panels that are larger in dimension and allow for proper airflow and at least a 3pin fan splitter that allows the fans to spin up/down via motherboard (or fan controller/hub) to customers who thought they were buying a higher tiered product. I would forgo RGB and tempered glass panels to get a case which is quieter under desktop operation and actually allows airflow, although the competition manages to offer many/most/all of these things no problem.

Hello Guys. I got one of MasterKeys PRO M White leds, and i got a issue not sure if it's a normal problem. Im a CS:GO player and like i said i got one of yours keyboards, i just set my gear up and when i went to play my first cs:go game something wrong happened with my keyboard, when i press w to move forward it stucks, my 1 person player stucks. It doesnt happen really often but it does, and the main problem now it's the TAB, i usually play with 300 fps. While before i got the keyboard i had a normal one, never one that good and mecanic. The thing is when i press TAB while im playin it drops my fps really bad 300 to 10, only, and i say only while i press tab, it doesnt happen when im playin in the server, if i keep pressing TAB it doesnt change a thing it keeps 10 fps, when i take my finger off the tab it goes to my 300 fps again. I've updated all thing that you can imagine, i updated my drivers, i switched usb doors, i changed some stuff on my graphics i dont know what to do anymore, hopefuly you can help me out.

i have the Exact same problem,on an am4(Asrock x370) board you can only have up/down airflow, and you can not use all Dimms(alu to close to dimm even on low profile rams)... i have contacted customer servive..CM needs to produce brackets, like the ones to am3/am3+/intel..(needs to be a longer one,) that will allow left/right airflow...like all other CPU fans... up/down will result in poor airflow in normal case without topfans.

Update: Was informed by the Cooler Master case specialists, the MasterCase Maker 7 will be available in 2018. This is to ensure the case is perfect upon release.

I've been looking to buy the CM Mastercase maker 7 for a long long time as it is made for xl-atx motherboards and much larger radiators. I've been using a cosmos 2 since they first released and own 2. But the Mastercase maker 7 has a lot of features I've been craving. 1. Tinted tempered glass side panel 2. Black interior (not red) 3. Xl-atx full tower 4. Lower shelf (psu) cover with customized panels 5. Its big! All that is available in stores is the tiny CM Mastercase 5 and 5t (with red), it's beautiful but it's too small. Where is my dream case the maker 7? been wanting to buy this for sooooo long, why won't you take my money?

First, where is the MasterCase Maker 7? We have been waiting for this case for over a year due to the fact it is an XL-ATX case. Case Idea • 2 versions to be available 1) Metal parts and upgrades 2) Plastic parts and upgrade (current). • Front IO to be a non-gloss finish • Have available different colored interior versions available, much like the 5T (black, Red, Green, Blue, White etc) • RBG lit fans to be standard with all builds with an RGB controller on the front IO (RGB fans can also be integrated into supporting Motherboards for customization) • Top cooler rack to fit up to a 3x120 or 3x140 radiator. • More rear SSD hold racks • PSU lower shelf cover to be standard (no one wants to see messy cables) • Motherboard bay side to have the tinted tempered glass side panel • Cable management side to have a metal side panel (can order another glass panel if you want this option) • New upgrade mod front fan cover to be flush with the IO (opening for airflow at the bottom of the cover instead of the top) Reason: the open hole looks like an opening to a garbage basket. • Disc drive shelf to be customizable to face forward, or sideways (looks amazing to have a fan controller or LED screen on the inside faced towards the tempered glass)

I GOT IT!!!! FINALLY!! The support didn't help, just told me to return it (as always) which was not an option as I bought it in Bangkok and live in Australia. Anyway, there was another thread on this and the guy said he just waited. Well I have waited 2 months at least with nothing, when randomly, when my PC was turned off, the lights went red. I turned on my PC in hope but the lights turned off. I pressed right click and DPI but nothing happened. Then, in a last shot of desperation I pressed the DPI and the scroll wheel when the lights finally turned on to pulse mode. I then followed the instructions in the manual to change it to static cyan just how I like it. Now, for the red lights to appear I had to plug the mouse into the 'always getting power USB port' on my motherboard, so that when the PC was off the mouse was receiving power but no data. Most laptops and decent desktops have this port. It can usually be identified by a Lightning bolt next to the usb port. Hopefully this helps someone.

Yes, you need to connect a sata power cable to the fan hub (behind M/B tray) as well - otherwise it will not power on.

And I just got right about the USB UUID with a little modding I just fixed it. What I have done: -Download the latest driver and unpack it -open up "setup.ini" Why this file? the Setup checks for the device Class Guid. it won't install because it does not match.. So where can I find this? -right click speaker icon on desktop -select playback devices -double click your Speakers (Sirus Headset) -on General click on properties -once there you want to go to "Details" and select "Class Guid" This Class Guid is what is being used for the setup. Go ahead and right click it for copying and paste it without its { and } in your setup.ini and save Happy installing P.S: Can one tell me if the Guid {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} is the same for them or not. If so, I can Zip a correct installation for people to download for windows 10 Now I feel like I should get paid by CM for doing their job.. (jk jk al in good fun) EDIT: I felt so free to just zip up the installation with the changed Class Guid and slammed it on my server for people to get around their issue. I don't know if this sorts out the issue for you, but once I got replies that it actually work for them I'm happy. http://teknocatron.com/software/cm%20storm/Sirus%20AP%20for%20Win10.zip

I would like to see removable motherboard trays become a thing, Especially with your new modular philosophy with the mastercase 5. I would also like to see a larger version of the mastercase 5 and pro 5.
