I recently bought the Masterset MS121 in order to use it to control my late 2016 MacBook Pro With the touch bar. However, I found that the keyboard did not work at all. It does not light up or show any form of life. I have plugged it into a windows PC an I have found that it works on that, then I plugged it into an iMac and it doesn't work there either. Is there any way that I can get it working on Mac or will I have to get a refund? Are any of the CM keyboards Mac compatible? Thanks in advance.

These instructions for the ML120R RGB really suck. Sorry but they do. No where does it explain what buttons do what on the controller. Or does it explain the other things like the SATA connection and connections like 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and the plug above 7. And I'm guessing the 2 radiator fans use the spliter provided with the black and brown plugs to the motherboard rear fan header but that doesn't explain how cable 7 is attached to the controller. Where does the Case reset go? Where does the motherboard reset go when I have a reset button on my PC case? Where does the plug above #7 go on the controller that looks like a temperature thing? Where does 2 and 4 go. Who ever wrote these instructions really needs to re-think there intentions

Hey, what kind of sound do you hear?

I have pointed down psu's fan and it's fine. And u should connect fans to the splitter and splitter to the desk to some SYS_FAN. With MB530P is included just splitter to the psu, not to mobo so you should buy if you wanna control it.

Hey, lol, I have exactly same prob with exact components.. and u should connect it to ARGB header, not RGB. But I did it and it didnt help me... Idk what to do.

I didnt buy it for the RGB, actually didnt know it was there until I got the product with my amd cpu "in a box", but..... you make a fan with a RGB light on it, you make it color adjustable by a wire to USB port on the motherboard and you have a piece of software to control the color...... so far so good.... Then why can the software only do 4 things..... 1. cycle colors 2. set it as one static color 3. the the light blink (breathe) 4. off. what happend to all the cool stuff..... 5. The obvious... color scale depending on cpu speed 7. color scale depending on fan speed 8. color scale depending on hdd/ssd activity 9. Blink to music beats... 10 going further......blink to every keyboard input....if detectable.

I WORKED IT OUT!!! I have the CM ML120 with only one fan connected but this will work if you are using two. I should've done some research because the advertising on the box said Aura Sync, and I would assume it was illegal to advertise such things if it weren't available. I followed all the instructions that was given in the manual, plug cables into AIO header and CPU header, plug the other pump cable into the controller, plug the fans into the splitter which plugs into the controller, then i had to power the bloody thing too and figured out why it didn't work. then with a little research, the thought process was I had to plug SOMETHING into the RGB header on the motherboard... but the question was what! then after a little bit of playing around with different cables (including the 4 pin cable) plugging in and out of the controller it donned on me.... I needed a splitter that connected the pump and fans, and plug that directly into the RGB header on the motherboard. and then Bobs your uncle. Aura sync works instantly!!! So just to reiterate what I have done. Coolermaster supply a 3 way splitter, which you plug the female plugs from the pump and fan(s) into using the Male-Male adapters. Then simply plug the single female end into the 3pin RGB port on your motherboard.

you need to download the masterplus instead of the rgb software. ARGB BOX Firmware v1.0.0.1

There have been multiple posts on this forum regarding the controller for our AIO's. This company has neglected to comment on the problem, essentially spitting the faces of their customers. "Plug in your CM device to get started" I'm now going to spend a few hours leaving the worst reviews for their products across as many sites as possible. No one should buy coolmaster products with this level of neglect and contempt for their own customers. Garbage company. Garbage products. Garbage customer service. No clear stance on anything, it's always just "contact customer support"

A very BIG THANK YOU for your great support, I've received three new fans for my cooler in just one week!!! I have already installed them on my system and everything is QUIET and COOL!!! Thank you very much!!!

Hey Michiel, thanks for the reply. I figured as such but I couldn't find any other option for submitting my problem. I didn't receive any e-mail stating the reason of the reject. Per your instructions I submitted a support ticket on your CM fanzone... I hope I will find a solution there, Thanks!

Hi coolermaster, my name is Daniel from Singapore. My fist computer was built was in your N series N200 windowed it has lasted thru the 5 years beautifully. Now I'm going to upgrade my Haswell system to a Ryzen system and I plan to do it in one of your smallest cases, I got my hands on your classic Elite 110s (mesh front) via newegg.sg I hope you will launch an updated version of the elite 110, here are a few things you could improve on : A finer mesh for the front (with rgb power button). Mesh filters for exhaust/intake points. Extended length for gpu with twin fans. Move the store side plate on gpu side to opposite side. Thank you

I have installed the portal software and I always get the same message about being connected to the internet even though I already am and after many deletes and re - installs it is still not working.

I can confirm this; airflow is appalling. How about making a simple mesh front panel?

I second this. Would like to have an answer.

My liquid cooler sounded bubbly, less so than yours, and I just assumed it was normal. Now I'm RMA'ing because of pump failure so I'm really curious how coolermaster responds to you.

Is this cooler compatible with Asus Aura Sync? I saw the badge on the web page for it but do not see the badging for it on the box.

I, sadly, also have created an account just to say thank you. I was trying to figure out how the "FN" things worked, and I pressed 4X thinking it would make the colors move faster...

The forum where there are no replies or any input from staff, moderators, members or any technical support staff of cooler master. A complete waste of time, effort and server space. What a joke.

Title. I just want to know if it the tower's height is too short for both the cooler and the ram sticks.

So I just finished building my PC, and am working on setting everything up with asus aura. Everything is linked and all, it's just that the fans and pump aren't going to the colours I set them to. one fan (lets call it fan 1) and the pump go one colour while the other fan(lets call it fan 2) goes a completely different colour. if I set the aura to blue, fan 2 turns off, if I set it red, the pump and fan 1 turn pink and fan 2 goes green, and If I set it to green, fan 1 and pump go sort of a minty-green and fan 2 goes red. any colour in between and the pump and fan 1 goes a very muted colour near the requested colour and fan 2 goes to a seemingly unkoun colour. If anyone can help me that would be GREATLY APPRECIATED Thanks in advance for your time

I connected the mini USB to my USB port and this showed up: And the controller is unable to change the colors of the fan through the software Sad, because the manual said "download fan software" from the website.... Feeling cheated...
  27. 1 point
in my opinion the controller should work with the fans. just make sure you get the right controller. there is RGB and Addressable RGB (mini one). get the RGB controller for your fans.

HI!, is there any place where I can get the fans for the V8 GTS?, or should I buy a new one? (P.S.) I'm from Mexico, hope someone can help thanks in advance!

I'd like to know also. Especially now that the 2nd gen CPUs are released. Any ETA? I saw a twitter post from CM that said the goal was "October", but that's all I've heard. No updates or preorder...

Hi I just installed a new coolermaster Masterliquid ML240L on my asus strix z370i motherboard, The fans spin and the pump runs but there is no LED's lit up anywhere. I am unable to set the RGB at all. Neither the fans nor the pump lights up at all, I have tried using the included controller but it does nothing. I have tried different variations and even just the fan alone but it will not light up. Please advise before I return it.

I have just bought the MS120 Keyboard and Mouse set - exactly the same issue as described above. Tried a reinstall, a restart, opening in Admin mode etc. Definitely a software issue (especially considering this is only version 1.0). Please fix this - it kind of ruins the whole experience. Hardware is fantastic, but software is clearly lacking.

Just checking but from the looks you have a ASUS Z370-E motherboard? I have the same. A regular RGB header on your motherboard will not work with these fans. You need to connect it to the ARGB header which of you only have one so you will need a ARGB splitter cable to connect everything. (Again a regular RGB splitter will not work) I just returned my MasterFan Pro RGB fans as they make a :) of a rattling sound... And I'm also not the only one! I was now thinking of buying the regular MasterFan RGB fans or the new ARGB fans. Keep me updated if you get it to work with AURA! PS: I'm not related to Cooler Master but just trying to help.

Hey CM dudes, y u not listen to what customers says? Seriously, I said this before: why in the name of something, do you make your keyboards with TWO Windows keys? Why would anyone need two Windows keys? This is an useless redundancy at the expense of a useful key which is the context menu key. Get rid of the right Windows key and bring back the context menu key! I'm looking to buy another mech. keyboard and guess what - even though I enjoy my Rapid-i, it won't be a another CM, I won't make this mistake again. Fix this or you've forever lost me as a client and I'm guessing that whoever uses keyboards for other things than gaming (don't you know, people that make games use keyboards too and they need the context menu key) uses that key just as often and therefore will look somewhere else. Pay a little attention to the "power user" crowd too. Looking forward to the new CM keyboard with a context menu key.

hello for some reason my coolermaster rgb controller is not detected in the cm software. everything is plugged in correctly and the controller is lit powering my rgb fan which is cycling through colours. thanks

Coolermaster needs to invest in better fans, they are trash, they are noisy, they make this odd rattling sound.

Took me two days install mine right. First, the instructions are weak. Second, the pump mount assembly for AM4 is too loose and would prefer a screw down system. Last, the chassis screw heads are too damn small for my Corsair C70 case but I hope its on tight enough now. Another gripe is the fan noise, louder than I like. I regret buying this

Wrapping up the back panel! Going from the cardboard template to metal, making a few adjustments along the way.. Getting the panel mounts to fit.. Now to mount the whole thing into the back panel. 3 L brackets and a few pop rivets later.. I did the same for the top piece, transferring the shape to metal and cutting it out. Some filing and sanding, but instead of pop rivets, I just used some 3M double-stick tape for a nice clean finish. Back panel is finished! Now just one last piece to make.. maybe.

Yeah. Id also like to know who the idiot was who thought this was a good idea? Im about to return everything labeled CoolerMaster and trade it all in for Corsair... Never had an issue like this with the dozens of cases and case fans Ive pourchased from them through the years...

Hi. Am upgrading pc to Amd4. Was trying to see if my CPU cooling had an amd4 bracket? In the compatibility chart it shows that Hyper 103 is compatible, however, I can't seem to find an upgrade kit for it. Does this kit even exist???

Hey John, I too experienced the same issue shortly after installing the MasterLiquid 120 lite CPU Cooler. Have you tried checking your motherboard fan settings in the BIOS? I found that the MSI motherboard that I'm using defaults the CPU and pump headers to use the PWM mode (with 4 pin plug). From what I found in other forums, the pump on these coolers (with 3 pin plug) need a steady supply of power so you want to set the pump header to use the DC mode. After updating the pump header setting, I verified that the other fans were set to the correct mode, saved changes and restarted. After that, all was nice and quiet. No more noises from the pump and the CPU is nice and cool since. I hope this helps. - Alex

Did you ever happen to find a solution. I am experiencing the same issue are you are. I've tried everything

I agree, I am against closed front panels, but I think is possible to detach and remove the front panel of the C700P

Sort of - the new AM4 model dropped the LGA775 support. But we can get you a bracket - our support team will get in touch with you.
