Every time I restart the Windows application "CM Connect" I select the "Default" profile and the fans make a lot of noise. I select "Silent" or any other profile and at the next reboot the device loses the configuration again and "Default" is selected again

Hi, What do you think of fixing cm connect? It barely worked for some time and just stopped working at all for no reason with popup that there is some error and Asian characters. Tried reinstalling Windows few times, but notching changed Is there anything I can do to make it at least slightly working again?

We are all the same, do not let this fall. What is needed for Cooler Master to pay attention to us? to be a famous youtuber? We have purchased one of the most expensive power supplies on the market and it turns out that it is super noisy and its software is reset at every restart. Well, I'm not satisfied. Cooler Master fix it or refund us the money !!

What if you put the software to keep the options when you press the "save" button? I choose the profile "Silent" and at each reboot of the system it returns to the profile "Default" ignoring my configuration.

Make CM Connect software open source if you can't support it, at least advanced users could make patches to make it work as expected. I bought MW 1200 and its great but software part of this psu leaves much to be desired.

I recently bought a Cooler Master SF120R ARGB case fan and an Addresable RGB LED small controller, because my mobo doesn't have a 3-pin ARGB header. I connected all the cables correctly, but the fan still isn't lighting up. I've been searching for hours on the forums, but I couldn't find anything! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recently built a new system, which included a MasterLiquid ML360R RGB. A large number of the components, including the cooler, were purchased from newegg. One of the components, and I am being careful not to name the manufacturer, did not match the specs given by newegg on their product page. That is - the component that I received was exactly what I had ordered, but as I found out, the product description on newegg's site listed incorrect information as compared to the manufacturer's specs as listed on the manufacturer's site. When the component failed almost immediately, I contacted newegg and explained the bad info on their product description page. I was informed by newegg that they are not responsible for misprints, because they simply paste in the info given by the manufacturer, and if that info is wrong, then it is not a newegg problem, and I need to contact their supplier, not them. As it turns out, the supplier has the correct information listed, only newegg has the wrong specs... and therefor it is a newegg problem, and I need to take it up with them. Newegg refused to listen to me, and refused to go to their suppliers page and see the error for themselves. They also refused to help me, and instead sent me back to their supplier. I left a poor review, and cited the specific errors in the product specs. Newegg deleted the review. I left a second review, less critical of my customer service experience, but still listing the exact specs from the supplier as a caution to anyone who might make the same mistake I had. Newegg deleted that review as well. I still have a product that is demonstrably broken due to bad specs on newegg's site; they refuse to help me, and after two months, still have bad info on their site. Since they refuse to listen to their customers, I wanted to share their underhanded business practices with all of the suppliers that I purchased products from through newegg, and let them know that newegg is a toxic company with the worst kind of business practices. If they won't listen to their direct customers, maybe they will listen to their suppliers. Good day.

Greetings Yesterday I purchased Masterwatt Maker 1200. https://goo.gl/photos/TieLHu5Gw4CKaMeb9 And whilst installation was a bliss and functionality is too, the software and control software is simply unacceptable. The Connect software on PC works, but crashes on empty field and some field called 60'S speed or something. Whenever I put my computer to sleep, the program shuts down and fan starts to blow at full speed. Also, the fan is horrible, why in the :) is it so loud? :/ even at lower RPM? And the mobile application doesn't work at all. I can't run it, it simply stays at first screen and than says that it can't connect to the device. I see the CM MasterWatt Maker on my phone, but I can't pair with it. Though, about the BT I don't care much. I do however care about modes. It doesn't remember my custom mode, everytime I wake up PC, or turn it on, I have to set it from scratch. Any clues? kind regards Bryan

support is a farsical mirage created by the cooler master team so that we buy their products thinking we can expect help when there'a problem, similar to food stamps in stalinist Russia, or the existence of political enemies in north korea.

Same fan profile problem here... "The support said: We are sorry but according our team this cannot be fixed with any update sorry. The new Maker PLUS version has this fixed."

Suffering from the same issues. In every restart the fan kicks back on even if I have already set it to silent. I HAVE TO DO THE SAME THING IN EVERY RESTART... I will first RETURN the FAILMAKER 1200 and then start a SPAMMING CAMPAIN in YouTube, blogs and social media in order to make this an issue for coolermaster... Its a pity they should come up with a solution, even in the form of a startup script to offer support to us fail-ridden folks. I suggest you to do the same if you value your investments and dislike being SUCKERS...

I just got my mk850 delivered. I calibrated the keys, went to gtav to test it out. Only key the game recognized was q. I have been trying to find the software download on this site without luck. If anyone has instructions or tell me what I missed I would surely appreciate the help.

I recently bought the MK850 keyboard. I was excited to start playing Forza Horizon 4 but when I tried, it didn't work. WASD wasn't working with any of the selected profiles. I did a bit of testing with other games such as overwatch and came to the conclusion that none of the games are detecting the input of WASD that was set to the left analog stick and RT and LT. If anyone knows how to resolve this issue please tell me.

The months pass and we continue the same. Every time I turn on my computer it sounds like it was a cheap computer manufactured 15 years ago. This is a real shame. How can you ignore your clients in this way?

Any chance to update for that software? Currently I am running v1.00.01 and it has few problems... 1) After restart it's setting into Default mode and it needs to be changed to silent or custom manually. 2) After restart my custom made (and saved) mode is deleted. Need to set it every single time

I confirm this. After updating windows 10 to october update CM Connect does not apply settings on startup. It seems this software is not supported as it should be. So disappointing.

To make the V8 cooler AM4 compatible, I grabbed the Cooler Master bracket RR-ACCY-AM4B-R1 from Micro Center. The other bracket RR-AM4B-H212-S1 will not work; there is a large stud from the screw at the center of the X that will push against the V8 block. Anyways, You will need to file the edges of the bracket down slightly as shown in the photo to accommodate the slightly wider V8 block. Once you do that, clean up any of the metal filings and you're good to go. The thumb screws will need to be loosened quite a bit because the V8 block is pretty thick. Hope this helps anyone interested. Also, I did replace my stock fan with a Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan. Works great. Fan removal procedure can be found in the Cooler Master Knowledge Base, but it's pretty simple.

Hi Apollo, You might have turned on the repeat rate. Press FN+ F5 to set it back to 1x. FN+F5= Repeat rate 1x FN+F6= Repeat rate 2x FN+F7= Repeat rate 4x FN+F8= Repeat rate 8x Let me know if this solves the issue
